Windows 95 winsock update |
When starting some apps in Windows 95 you get error: A required .DLL file, WS2_32.DLL, was not found. It caused because of old windows socket libraries. To update to winsock2 just download Windows Socket 2 Update from http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/downloads/.
After this update, I noticed, that copy/paste or drag/drop from explorer was disabled. That was old pain form me, because at my work there are still some pc's with windows 95 who had this problem. But seemes, that after Microsoft DUN 1.3 and Winsock2 Year 2000 Update everything was fixed.
