Kvirc irc client for Linux and Windows |

I dont like mIRC. It's not freeware, it has not everything what I need from irc client. So I found Kde irc KVIrc. Its freeware, and multiplatform. So I can use my configuration, which is stored in .kvirc folder for Windows and for Linux. It has lots of handy functions. For example Split view, where you can split server messages, user joins to chans, bans from pure chat. Its realy comfortable when lots of users joins and leaves to big channel.

Also very handy thing - minimize to systray (or kde to dockwidget). To enable it, just type command in Kvirc

/dockwidget.show

There are too many usefull functions, I can not describe all of them. Better download and try it by yourself. Official KVIrc page
